IWW Joining Information for 2026
This page is for prospective IWW members. If you are a returning IWW member, please click here.
How to Join
(Please note, if you are joining primarily to enter The Kathleen Grattan Prize for a Sequence of Poems your application must be received by the third Tuesday in June of the competition year.)
Print or download the
Member Application Form
to your device to complete.
Scan or PDF the completed form and email as per instructions on bottom of form.
IWW's annual subscription for 2026 is $30.
A one-off $10 joining fee applies.
The subscription period is the calendar year and the new member subscription may reduce only after the last monthly competition of the year is due.
Prospective members are welcome to attend two IWW workshops before making the commitment to join. There may be a non-member charge for some workshops but this will be credited towards your membership subscription should you decide to join. The charge will usually be when there is a guest presenter workshop and will be noted on the Upcoming Workshops calendar entry.
Ways to pay the new member subscription are detailed on the Member Application Form.
New members become eligible to enter competitions after their application has been tabled at a committee meeting and then approved in writing (usually via email).
